Bitch Slapped

So, here I am, in this white and black spinny chair, trying to fathom the fact that in just a few short months, I will officially be a Senior. Where the HELL did all the time go? I have to start planning internships, scholarships, jobs, and plan out my life for the next two years. How the hell am I supposed to know what I want to do in the next two years, when I don't even know what I want to do in the next two weeks? The fact that Life has decided to dub me the unofficial title of her plaything is really taking it's toll. I've already fallen down the stairs, do I need to be bitch slapped too? You know, I feel like I am just going to be bounced off of walls until she sees how much I can take. Well, Life, what else do you have to throw at me?

Live Journal

So, I've also posted some things I've written on Live Journal, so check me out there too...

Realizations

So for my Portfolio 2 class, we had an assignment where we had to write about three things that have changed us as writers, and well, I really like two of the things I wrote about. I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, and I have realized how much I have matured in the last couple of months due to circumstances that were well out of my hands. Sure, sometimes I still get angry or frustrated about this one, but I don't sit there crying about it. I just realize how much it's made me change my perspective on the world, and how much I have opened up and grown because of it. It also made me think about how much I am so thankful for discovering and experiences the second one. I will post them on here, but right now I'm just too lazy to.

Virginal

So, I'm new to the whole blogging thing. I have a few "notes" on Facebook and a flew blogs on myspace, but I figured I'd create a space where I can come and spew out my thoughts, discuss current events, or use it as a place to store my work. Also, I thought it'd be a mature way to grow and develop as a writer, without having to deal with the bullshit of twentysomethings who say they're "mature" but act like little girls. This is a drama free zone, thanks.
